Awareness Raising Sessions On Eye Diseases Held

FATA directorate of Health Services had arranged six community awareness sessions for the teachers of primary schools and Lady Health Workers (LHWs) of Khyber Agency, Mohmand Agency, FR Peshawar and FR Kohat in the month of April and May
PESHAWAR, Jun 1 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2018 ) :FATA directorate of Health Services had arranged six community awareness sessions for the teachers of Primary schools and Lady Health Workers (LHWs) of Khyber Agency, Mohmand Agency, FR Peshawar and FR Kohat in the month of April and May.
The session were conducted under eye care services Programme FATA, where LHWs and teachers were made aware of the precautionary measures of communicable eye diseases, signs and symptoms of refractive errors, importance of vitamin A and management of allergic conjunctives, a spokesman of FATA directorate said.
In these sessions, a total number of 59 Lady Health workers and 114 teachers participated along with the Agency education Officer.
