Bhakkar Thalassemia Centre At DHQ Hospital Inaugurated

Regional Police Officer Sargodha Dr Akhter Abas on Wednesday inaugurated a Thalassemia care centre here at District Headquarters hospital.

BHAKKAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2018 ) :Regional Police Officer Sargodha Dr Akhter Abas on Wednesday inaugurated a Thalassemia care centre here at District Headquarters hospital.

The centre will be an opportunity among Thalassemia patients, the RPO said in the ceremony, adding that earlier people have to travel to other cities for their treatment while now all facilities would be available here at DHQ.

District Police Officer Khalid Masood urged people to contribute in the centre so that provision of blood transfusion could be ensured among thalassemia children. A total Rs 1,644,000 donations were collected in inauguration ceremony.
