CCU Unit Inaugurated At DHQ Hospital Malakand

Khyber Pakthunkhwa Minister for Revenue, Shakeel Ahmed Khan on Wednesday inaugurated Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) at District Headquarter Hospital to facilitate patients suffering for cardiac diseases.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the minister said that to provide best health facilities to the people at their door steps was the provincial government top most priority. He said that with opening of CCU unit, now cardiac patients would not need to visit provincial metropolitan for getting medical treatment.
Local political leadership of Malakand division including former ANP parliamentarian Shoaib Khan, Ijaz Ali Khan, former Jamat-e-Islami MPA Shah Raz Khan, Amjid Ali Shah, PPP Mahbob ur Reham, Mulslim Khna, JUI(F) Mufti Kafayat Ullah, District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Waheed Gul, Deputy Commissioner Iqbal Hussain also attended the ceremony.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Saeed ur Rehamn said that CCU was made functional by utilizing already equipments available in the hospitals by getting additional grant from the government.
