DC Larkana Visits Villages To Monitor 4-day National Polio Campaign

Commissioner Larkana, Muhammad Noman Siddique, along with Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Larkana and District Health Officer Larkana Wednesday visited various villages of Larkana and Ratodero Taluka to monitor the four-day National Polio Campaign, which started on Monday
During the visit the Deputy Commissioner was briefed that the officials of the Health Department with the assistance of WHO and UNICEF set up 812 teams. The teams were visiting door-to-door to administrate anti-polio drops to 0-5 years children in Larkana district.
The DC Larkana urged the parents, teachers, representative of NGOs and the members of community that they should come forward and play their role to the success of the anti-polio campaign.
He said in order to monitor the anti-polio campaign in Larkana district at District and Tehsil level, control rooms have already been set up.
The DC also visited various bus stops and witnessed administration of anti-polio drops to children.
