The doctors in Sindh will boycott the outpatient department (OPD) in all public sector hospitals in the province on January 28 as protest against Sindh Health Department
A meeting of the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Sindh chapter and Young Doctors Association gave the protest call here on Wednesday.
The associations' office bearers told that the doctors demand salary and allowances at par with their counterparts in Punjab province.
They also called for instituting a mechanism under which the doctors received timely promotions.
The two associations complained of rampant corruption in Sindh Health Department and asked the government to take steps on war footing to eradicate that menace.
