Dr Asim Elected As Newly Formed BoG Of Ayub Teaching Institution

The newly formed board of governors of Ayub Teaching Institution (ATI) on Tuesday has elected Dr. Aasim Yousaf as Chairman BoG and the major changes have also been made at the managerial level of the institution.
ABBOTTABAAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2018 ) :The newly formed board of governors of Ayub Teaching Institution (ATI) on Tuesday has elected Dr. Aasim Yousaf as Chairman BoG and the major changes have also been made at the managerial level of the institution.
Director of Institutional based private practice Dr. Athar Lodhi has been appointed as Hospital director, Dr. Ahsan Aurangzeb professor of Neurosurgery as medical director and Dr. Umer Farooq, Professor of community medicines as the Dean of Ayub Medical College.
The newly formed BoG comprised of experienced professionals such as Major General Amjad Faheem, Junaid Mushtaq Querashi, Ahmed Siraj, Dr. Ejaz Khan, and Aamir Mehmood.
Chairman BoG Dr. Aasim Yousaf has served the institution as the member of the board of governors before and had played an instrumental role in the installation of Hospital Information Management System in the hospital.
Ayub Teaching Hospital holds the credit of being the very first government hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to get computerized. The new board vows to make this hospital one of the best public sector hospitals in the whole province.
Dr. Athar Lodhi who was earlier serving as director institution based practice (IBP) now has taken the charge as hospital director.
He has also worked as the associate advisor to the city of Toronto Public Health Development Department Canada.
Dr.Athar has played an instrumental role in launching the Institutional based private here in this hospital and the other flagship projects of provincial government.
The profound Neurosurgeon Dr. Ahsan Aurangzeb professor has been appointed as Medical Director of Ayub Teaching Hospital. He is serving in the neurosurgery department of Ayub Teaching Hospital for the last 15 years and has his specialization in microvascular Neurosurgery from Japan. He has 15 publications on his credit in the field of Neurosurgery.
Dr. Umer Farooq, Professor of community medicines has been appointed as the Dean of Ayub Medical College. He has more than 35 publications in international peer reviews Journals.
Board of governors has asked all three directors to submit a short-term plan within 15 days to address the immediate issues related to patient care. Board of governors has expressed full confidence in all the three directors and wants the maximum coordination among them to achieve the objectives.
