Secretary Health Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Saeedullah Khan on Tuesday said the provincial government was committed to provide best health facilities to masses of the area.
ASTORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Dec, 2018 ) :Secretary Health Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Saeedullah Khan on Tuesday said the provincial government was committed to provide best health facilities to masses of the area.
Talking to media persons, the health secretary said all the doctors in hospitals were performing their duties properly.
He informed that strict action would be taken against the derelict staffers as the government was determined to make no comprise on health related issues.
He said the health department had been directed to pay regular visit to health units in the area and inspect service delivery to patients.
He informed that the target was successfully achieved during anti-polio campaign which was held in a peaceful environment and vowed that the district would be made polio-free zone.
There was no shortage of medicines in the district, he said adding that all the dispensaries had been provided enough stock of medicines.
He said the administration was struggling hard to provide best available health facilities to the area people and would utilize all available resources in this regard.
