German Ambassador Inaugurates Mobile Health Center

German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler inaugurated a Mobile Health Center at Chak 83/N-B of Kohliwal Union Council (UC), here Thursday.
SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) :German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler inaugurated a Mobile Health Center at Chak 83/N-B of Kohliwal Union Council (UC), here Thursday.
The new mobile hospital has been established with the help of an institute of Germen government, Green Star and KFW.
The German Lady Counselor UC Klorein, Country Head Green Star Syeda Masooma Zaidi, Chairman District Council Sardar Asim Sher Maiken and UC chairmen were also present on the occasion, said a press release.
The mobile health center of worth Rs 5.6 million has been established in a container in Chak 83/N-B in which round the clock mother-child healthcare, maternity home, ultrasound facilities would be available.
The German government had started this mobile hospital's project fifteen months earlier with cooperation of private departments and total 12,000 patients have been provided medical checkup and treatment here.
A total 58 normal delivery cases in the rural areas were also registered here while a local land owner Muhammad Rubnawaz had given the land for the hospital free of cost and also provided residence for the doctor.
Talking to the inaugural ceremony, the German Ambassador said Pakistan was a fertile country and its people were also friendly and hard worker.
The German government and Pakistani government was working on lot of projects here, adding that German government was also striving hard to provide technical and financial assistance in the textile, agriculture and health sectors.
The problems of masses were increasing due to increase in population, he said and urged people to enhance their family according to resources and stressed for community working by the masses.
He also assured that efforts would be made to shift the mobile hospital into a permanent place and in this regard a request would also be forwarded to the German government for financial assistance.
The other participants also addressed on the occasion and lauded the efforts of German government regarding initiative taken for provision of health facilities among rural residents.
