Health Department Starts Action Against Dengue Larvae

The Health Department started action for eradication of dengue larvae as preventive measures before start of Monsoon season on war-footing.
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jul, 2018 ) :The Health Department started action for eradication of dengue larvae as preventive measures before start of Monsoon season on war-footing.
Presiding over a meeting, held in connection making arrangements against dengue larvae here on Tuesday, Additional Commissioner Sarfraz Ahmed said that the action has been started as per directions of Commissioner Multan Division Nadeem Irshad Kiyani.
He said that district Multan remained dengue-free for the last many years because of hard work of the dengue workers who created awareness among masses through door-to-door campaigns. He said that anti-dengue campaign would also be initiated in all districts of the region in order to control dengue larvae.
Giving briefing on the occasion, Focal person for dengue Dr Atta-ur-Rehman said that the Punjab government taken exemplary steps for eradication of dengue.
