Helping Hand Hands Over Medical Equipment To CDGP

Helping Hand, a non-governmental organization Tuesday handed over medical equipment worth Rs.17.5 million to district government for bringing improvement in the conditions of health centers.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2018 ) :Helping Hand, a non-governmental organization Tuesday handed over medical equipment worth Rs.17.5 million to district government for bringing improvement in the conditions of health centers.
In this connection, a function was held in the District Council Hall with City District Nazim, Mohammad Asim Khan in the chair. Besides, District Naib Nazim, Syed Qasim Ali Shah, Director Coordination, Sahiabzada Mohammad Tariq, Director Helping Hand, Shakeel Ahmad, District Health Officer (DHO), Dr.
Gul Mohammad, President, Al-Khidmat Foundation, Khalid Waqas, members of district council and representatives attended the function.
Speaking on the occasion, the City District Nazim, Mohammad Asim Khan thanked the Helping Hand for the provision of such hefty amount for provision of equipment to health centers of the district and termed it symbol of confidence on the district government.
The assistance, he said will help in bringing improvement in the condition of health centers and provision of health facilities to the people at their door steps. He further said that all health centers of the districts are being shifted on solar energy.
