Joint Efforts Needed Against Dengue

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Sep, 2017 ) : The dengue virus can only be controlled after joint efforts of departments and public awareness. This was said by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Health Dr Nusrat Riaz while talking to this scribe here on Wednesday.
He said people should adopt precautionary measures to eradicate dengue chances and added 205 teams had completed surveillance of dengue larva in the district and efforts were also underway to control mosquito.
He said no case of dengue was reported this year while 19 cases were reported in the last year. He said machinery,including 206 spray pumps,76 safety kits,35 de-watering sets, were also functional.
