KP Govt Promotes Senior Doctors

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on the recommendations of Provincial Selection Board has promoted senior doctors working in various hospitals of the province including surgeons, dermatologists, physicians, gynecologists and Psychiatrist.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Oct, 2018 ) :Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on the recommendations of Provincial Selection board has promoted senior doctors working in various hospitals of the province including surgeons, dermatologists, physicians, gynecologists and Psychiatrist.

According to a notification by KP Health Department here Friday, the promoted medical professionals included two District Skin Specialists who were promoted to the post of Senior District Skin Specialist. The promoted doctors are: Dr Mukhtiar Ahmad, DHQ Hospital Batkhela and Dr Muhammad Kausar, DG Health Officer KP.

Similarly District Surgical Specialist Dr Mahmood Jan, DHQ Hospital Tank, Dr Ali Muhammad DHQ Hospitel Bajaur, Dr Sarfaraz Ahmad. ESH Nahaqi Peshawar, Dr Asghar Ali Khan Cat-D Hospital Barawal Banda Upper Dir, Dr Anwar ur Din DHQ Hospital Chitral, Dr Alamgir DHQ Hospital Tank, Dr Zia ur Rehman DHQ Hospital Bajaur and Dr Muhammad Nabi attached to DHS (FATA) have been promoted to the post of Senior District Surgical Specialist.

Meanwhile eight Senior District Surgical Specialist including Dr Saif ur Rehman SGTH Swat, Dr Bakht Sarwar DHQ Hospital Taimergra, Dr Muhammad Nasir DHQ Hospital Kohat, Dr Muhammad Ismail Khan SGTH Swat, Dr Rizwan Ahmad DHQ Hospital Karak, Dr Mian Tauseef ud Din DHQ Hospital Mardan, Dr Noor Alam, ESH Pabbi Nowshera and Dr Muhammad Shafiq DHQ Hospital Swabi have been promoted to the post of Chief District Specialist Surgery.

The government has also promoted four Senior District Gynecology Specialists to the post of Chief District Gynecology Specialist. Ptomoted doctors are included Dr Narges Danish DHQ Hospital Abbottabad, Dr Shehzadi Nayab Bilal Maternity Hospital Peshawar, Dr Sabrina Siraj DHQ Hospital Nowshera and Dr Nighat Shaheen NKBM Hospital Peshawar.

Four District Physician Specialist have also been promoted to the post of Senior District Physician included Dr Faridullah Shah Services Hospital Peshawar, Dr Akhtiar Ali DHQ Hosptial Kohat, Dr Fazli Rahim DHQ Hospital Batkhela and Dr Arshad Naeem KATH Mansehra.

Likewise, District Psychiatrist Dr Mian Nizam Ali DHQ Hospital Batkhela has also been promoted to Senior District Psychiatrist.

All the promoted doctors would remain on probation for a period of one year. However, posting and transfer notifications would be issued later.
