CHAKWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2019 ) :The Deputy Commissioner of Chakwal Captain (R) Abdul Sattar Raisani here on Thursday expressed that under the Dengue Control Programme maximum staff would be hired during the period of August 20 to November 18 for timely action and safety of human being.
Addressing in a meeting of District Emergency Response Committee for Dengue, besides other the meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officer (CEO), MS DHQ, MS THQ, Principal Government Colleges for boys and girls, Deputy Director Livestock and Social Welfare, Small dams, Fisheries, DHO, DFO, Deputy Director of Agriculture, CEOs Municipal Committees Chakwal, Tala Gang, Kalar Kahar and CO District Council Chakwal, Special Branch of Police department and Deputy Director Information.
Entomologist of Chakwal Raja Shakeel giving briefing and said 48 cases had been surfaced in 2019, Dengue is a basically urban areas disease.
This germs would be born in clean drinking water like water storage, water reservoirs and standing water in utensils and water pool etc.
The Health Department was take action on smart phones calls 155 spots and 12304 activities had been done on time.
He said capacity buildings and all departments except private schools have been completed and awareness of special paints paste on building get best result.
Deputy Commissioner said that all dengue related departments should take parts in the campaign and clean the jink yards,Tyres shops, mosques, nurseries, service stations, graveyards, pools, bus stands, sanitary shops and basements of the houses.
He added government colleges for boys and girls principals directed to arrange awareness walk about dengue and also advised to Information departments and electronic media to advertised the dengue programmes on regular basis.
