Meeting Finalises Funds Allocation Proposals For Health Sector :Secretary Najam Ahmed Shah

Secretary Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Najam Ahmed Shah, presided over a meeting to finalise recommendations for allocation of funds for ongoing and new development schemes in the next fiscal year (2018-19) in his office, here on Monday.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2018 ) :Secretary Specialized Healthcare & Medical education Najam Ahmed Shah, presided over a meeting to finalise recommendations for allocation of funds for ongoing and new development schemes in the next fiscal year (2018-19) in his office, here on Monday.
The meeting was briefed about the estimates of expenditures on the ongoing and new development schemes during the next budget. The meeting finalised recommendations/ proposals of allocation of funds for revamping of teaching hospitals/ upgradation of emergency departments, provision of incinerators/ auto-claves for hospital waste management, provision of dialysis machines, establishment of hepatitis clinics and gastroenterology departments in the teaching hospitals, establishment of new medical colleges in district Attock and Bhakkar and introducing of IT solutions for improving the working of the hospitals and resolving the managerial problems.
Special Secretary Development Usman Mouzzam, Additional Secretary Development Shahid Rehman, Chief Planning Officer Abdul Haq Bhatti, Chief Executive Internal Policy & Strategic Planning Unit Prof Ahsan Waheed Rathore, consultant Project Management Unit Mr Peter, Dr Zahid Pervaiz, Consultant Ms Aimen Majeed and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
Secretary Health Najam Ahmed Shah directed that recommendations of allocations of funds for next year's ADP should immediately be sent to Finance and P&D Departments for incorporating these recommendations in the next financial year.
Najam Ahmed Shah said that the next financial year 2018-19 would also be a good year for health sector and new medical colleges would be set up besides increasing the quality health facilities for the people.
