ISLAMABAD, Mar 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Mar, 2018 ) :A new children ward has been opened in Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Sadda in Kurram Agency. Sadda Hospital in-charge Dr Anwar Sarwar said a large hall already existed in the hospital which was renovated and converted into a children ward.
He said all the necessary equipment has been purchased for the ward,reported private news channel. Dr Anwar Sarwar said the ward has space for 14 beds and it has been equipped with all the necessary facilities.
Locals have expressed happiness over establishment of new children ward in the hospital.
They said they used to take their children to other cities due to lack of facilities in Sadda Hospital, but now their problems will end with the opening of children ward in Sadda Hospital.
"We faced many problems earlier as there were no proper facilities for medical treatment of children here. This problem will be resolved with opening of children ward. We are very thankful to those who have taken this step," a local said.
