NIH's Five Days Training Workshop Concludes

The five days training workshop arranged by National Institute of Health (NIH), with support of Global Health Development/EMPHNET, Jordan,titled "Incident Command Management has been concluded here on Friday.
This training workshop for government professionals, working in Public Health,and Disaster management fields was started on December 10, said a press release issued here.
More than 30 public-sector professionals from diverse fields like Public Health, Rescue 1122,Disaster management,Armed Forces,Medical belonging to provinces and regions ( Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, KP, Gilgit Baltistan,AJK and Federal territory) were participated in the training course.
The aim of the training was to strength the capacity of government officers and institutions ultimately, in joint and collective response to each kind of emergency situation in Pakistan.
The participants were provided with the conceptual learning material and practical group exercises about different functions of Incident Command Management.
On the beginning of training sessions, Brig Professor Dr Aamir Ikram, thanked the facilitator from GHD/EMPHNET, Jordon and participants.
He said that all divisions and departments of Pakistan would work to a national, regional and global effort to enhance global health security in line with IHR 2005.
