No Issue Of Medicines' Shortage In GB: DHO

District Health Officer (DHO), Khurshid Alam on Monday said the Gilgit-Baltistan government was taking concrete measures for ensuring health facilities in the district.
ASTORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) :District Health Officer (DHO), Khurshid Alam on Monday said the Gilgit-Baltistan government was taking concrete measures for ensuring health facilities in the district.
Talking to media, the DHO dismissed rumors about shortage of medicines and said there was no shortage of medicines in the district, adding all the dispensaries had been provided enough stock of medicines.
He said all the doctors in DHQ hospital were doing their duties properly and serving the people, adding strict action would be taken against the derelict staffer as the administration was determined to make no comprise on health related issues, he informed.
He said he regularly visiting the basic health units of the district to monitor service delivery and learn about feedback about the initiatives taken by the government in health sector.
The administration was struggling hard to provide best available health facilities to the area people and will utilize best available resources in this regard, the DHO maintained.
