No Traveling Child Should Be Left Without Administering Anti-polio Drops: Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad

Deputy Commissioner Sardar Saifullah Dogar has said that no child travelling with his parents should be left without administering polio drops and area incharges should check the performance of health teams in this regard
He was inspecting the performance of the polio teams at General Bus Stand after commencement of five-day anti-polio drive in Faisalabad on Monday.
Deputy Commissioner went to waiting areas and inside the busses and inquired from the parents about the administering of anti-polio drops. He also checked the marks on the fingers of the children for verification of having vaccine.
He asked the parents to get their children administrated anti-polio drops rather they had already taken these drops to eliminate the polio virus completely.
Deputy Commissioner directed the management of the General Bus Stand to supervise the activities of polio teams so that no child should be left without taking polio vaccine drops.
He said that the polio teams should remain active on Motorway Interchange, Railway Stations, Airports, Markets, Public Parks and other public places for administering the anti-polio drops.
Deputy Commissioner also checked the record of polio teams and arrangements for the safety of vaccine. He directed for ensuring the safety of vaccine keeping it in ice-box.
