Patients Safety Program In Punjab Hospitals

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2019 ) :A meeting of Primary & Secondary Healthcare was held under the chair of Provincial Minister for Health Dr Yasmin Rashid in which an initiative for launching Patients Safety Programme was taken.

The minister said that in the first phase of the programme, ten public sector hospitals would be made model hospitals. This programme would ensure safe treatment of patients at any cost in the government hospitals.

Representatives of the World Health Organization would provide assistance in the Patient Safety Programme, she said and added that efforts were being made by the Punjab government for providing the maximum relief to patients in public sector hospitals.
