PUMHS Organizes Awareness Seminar On 'role Of Anesthesia In Medical Sector'

Peoples University of Medical and Health Sciences for Women (PUMHS) organized an awareness seminar on the "role of Anesthesia in the medical sector" in assessing a patient's medical readiness for surgery.
NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :Peoples University of Medical and Health Sciences for Women (PUMHS) organized an awareness seminar on the "role of Anesthesia in the medical sector" in assessing a patient's medical readiness for surgery.
Delivering the presidential speech, Chairman Health Care Commission Sindh Prof. Tipu Sultan said that Doctors of Anesthesia play important role in health sector.
He said that hundreds of doctors have done their Post Graduation in the field of Anesthesia but despite of that several posts are lying vacant due to paucity of Doctors of Anesthesia.
Prof Tipu said that surgery has important role on human body and it requires proper anesthesia, which is demanding more anesthesia doctors in this field.
He said that pains in different parts of human body and also during delivery cases, anesthesia is essential. Prof Tipu said that the aim of organizing this seminar is to create awareness among medical students about this sensitive department of medical science. He said that he has been tasked to hold such seminars in all the districts of the province to further activate this sector.
The seminar was also addressed by Registrar PUMHS Dr. Saleh Khaskheli. The seminar was largely attended by medical students and doctors of PUMHS.
