Punjab Healthcare Commission Closes Down Another 51 Bogus Clinics

The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) has closed down 51 more businesses of quacks during the last two days
The PHC enforcement teams, accompanied by officials of the district administration and police, visited 298 treatment centres in different cities, including Lahore.
They sealed 51 outlets where quacks were treating patients.
On the other hand, the follow-up visits showed that 102 quackery outlets had been converted into other businesses.
The sealed businesses included nine in Sheikhupura, eight in Lahore and Daska (Gujranwala), seven each in Laliaan (Chiniot) and Lodharan, six each in Kot Addu (Muzaffargarh) and Okara.
In Lahore, Mehmooda Free Dispensary, Zahid Homeopathic Clinic, Rehman Clinic, Faizan Homeopathic Clinic, Malik Ghulam Hussain Clinic, Tariq Clinic, Al-Shifa Medical Clinic and Haji Sharif Jarrah were closed down for practising quackery.
