Punjab Healthcare Commission Seals Another 53 Quackery Centres In 10 Cities

The Punjab Healthcare Commission on Tuesday sealed 53 more quackery outlets in ten cities of the province.
The PHC teams visited 264 treatment centres in Lahore and other nine cities of the province.
The census data showed that 86 quacks centres had been converted into other businesses.
Among the visited centres, 29 were in Safdarabad, 26 in Khushab, 24 each in Jhang and Pattoki, while 23 each were in the rest of the cities.
Seven centres were sealed in Gujrat, six each in Bahawalnagar, Rajanpur and Jhang, five in Lahore, three in Khushab, while the rest had four each.
In Lahore, Mumtaz Clinic and Maternity Home, Dilshad Clinic, Aamir Clinic and First Aid Centre, Asif Dental Clinic and Asim Medical Store were closed down.
