Following the directions of the Supreme Court, the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) on Saturday submitted a report on costing and pricing of services and consultations of private hospitals.
According to details, charges have been proposed for all types of treatments, surgeries, consultations, admissions, wards, rooms, etc.
The grading of the private hospitals has been done earlier, and rates have been proposed on the activity-based costing, and the cost has been calculated prior to proposing prices and fees," said the spokesperson for the Commission.
It further said that in compliance with the SC orders, the report had also been uploaded on the PHC website www.phc.org.pk, which could also be downloaded.
People could also email their suggestions and proposals at [email protected] till the evening of December 19, concluded the report.
