Qualified Officials Can Help Improve Medical Institutions: Mayor Of Karachi

Mayor of Karachi Wasim Akhtar has said that professional and technical education centres will be approached for cooperation in the better management of 13 KMC-Run hospitals.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :Mayor of Karachi Wasim Akhtar has said that professional and technical education centres will be approached for cooperation in the better management of 13 KMC-Run hospitals.
He urged the management to give priority to skilled and qualified officials on administrative posts so these institutions could be enabled to provide better medical services to citizens.
He said this in a meeting with the faculty members of the Institute of health and medical sciences of Jinnah Sindh Medical University led by its Director Prof Abuzar Wajidi visited the KMC Head Office on Monday, said a statement.
Metropolitan Commissioner Dr Syed Saif ur Rehman Chairperson Medical committee of city council Karachi Naheed Fatima, Senior Director Health and Medical Serices Dr.
Beerbal, Director Technical to Mayor S. M Shakaib, Senior Director Coordination Masood Alam and other officers were also present on this occasion.
Akhtar said that professional staff equipped with knowledge of hospital management, finance and accounts can help bring improvement in the performance in medical institutions.
Professor Abudzar Wajidi briefed the Mayor about the institute and its educational activities and courses as well degrees offered to medical professionals.
The Mayor assured them of all possible cooperation so that studentscould be facilitated.
