LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jan, 2018 ) :Known Yoga expert Wajahat Yogi has said that regular Yoga practice wards off diseases, besides ensuring many health benefits for a person.
Talking to APP Monday,Wajahat Yogi said if 'Yoga asanas' (postures) were practiced regularly, then one could lead a healthy life. It represents a full healthy lifestyle in this modern world, filled with stress and anxiety, he added.
"If you have a particular disease and malaise, then the natural cure is yoga",he said. " It is collective wisdom of ages that Yoga encompasses a system of cure sans medicines." He said Yoga might help cure certain chronic diseases like asthma and arthritis, if it were practiced regularly.
To a question, he pointed out that Yoga could not cure diabetes but it was effective in controlling blood sugar. He said there were various Yoga exercises that were natural cures for lower back pain and indigestion."Splitting headaches that are symptoms of migraine can be easily cured through Yoga", he added.
He said hypertension, indigestion, migraine, lower back pain,arthritis, liver problems, depression and poly-cystic ovaries could be cured by adopting the regular practice of Yoga.
