Rescue services continue in Tharparkar: Deputy Commissioner

THARPARKAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jan, 2019 ) :Deputy Commissioner, Tharparkar, Muhammad Asif Jameel on Wednesday said that the rescue services were continued in Thar and a report about health facilities, death rate of children due to malnutrition has been sent to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

According to the report, he said that 126 children under five years of age were brought to the Mithi hospital, 38 of which were discharged after health recovery and 82 children were treated in different hospitals of the district for medical aid.

Best medical facilities were provided to 709 patients on Out Patient Department (OPD) in government hospitals, he added.

As many as 470 children were treated in 31 Health Centres and government dispensaries, he said.

According to vision of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf government, special measures have been madefor provision of best medical facilities to the people of Tharparkar at their doorsteps, the DC added.
