Saudi Arabia Registers 528 MERS Cases In One Year

RIYADH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2017 ) : Saudi Arabia registered 528 middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) corona virus cases in the current year, Okaz local news reported on Wednesday.
This increases the cases to 1,622, including 695 deaths since 2012, in which 49% of total cases reported this year developed the infection at health facilities.
The country has registered the first and highest MERS cases in the world.
Although the number of new cases has drastically decreased over the years, the cases usually increase similar to other types of flu during cold weather. APP/Xinhua/meh/ffr
