Swine-flu Awareness Walk Held

A rally was taken out in Johar Town to create awerness about Swine-flu/H1N1 influenza virus on Friday
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2018 ) :A rally was taken out in Johar Town to create awerness about Swine-flu/H1N1 influenza virus on Friday. The walk was jointly organised by the district health authority and Saadat Ali Foundation.
During the walk, masks and pamphlets were also distibuted among participants.
It is partinent to mention here that the National Institute of Health (NIH) has recently issed a health advisory for prevention of swine-flu.
The NIH advisory urged the masses to frequent and thorough hand washing with soap, avoid touching nose, mouth or eyes as the virus survives on common surfaces. Patients are advised to take rest, avoid crowds and take other social distancing measures, the advisory suggested.
