Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has decided to give salary package to doctors working in the provincial government at par with the doctors of the Punjab
KARACHI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 11th February, 2019) Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has decided to give salary package to doctors working in the provincial government at par with the doctors of the Punjab.The chief minister has directed Chief Secretary Mumtaz Ali Shah to carry out an exercise to give remunerate to the doctors of Sindh at par with the doctors working in Punjab government.
"once the exercise is carried out place it in the next cabinet so that it could be discussed and approved," he said.The chief minister said that the Punjab government has already carried out such an exercise and the Punjab cabinet has approved it.
Therefore, "we need to ensure that our doctors get remunerated at par with the doctors in the Punjab," he directed the chief secretary.The Chief Secretary has trickled down the instruction of the chief minister to health department to calculate pay and allowances of doctors in Sindh and compare them with the doctors of the Punjab other provinces and submit a detailed report along with its financial impact for next cabinet meeting.
