Three-day Anti-polio Drive Inaugurated In Faisalabad

As many as 1.354 million children would be administered anti-polio vaccine in the district during a three-day drive.
CEO District Health Authority Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Sipra, DHO Dr Muhammad Asif Shahzad, Medical Superintendent Children Hospital Dr Habib Buttar, Dr Bilal Ahmad, Area Coordinator WHO Dr Fiaz Sarwar and other officers of the health department were also present.
The DC directed that polio teams should be present on static points at passengers transport stands, the busiest intersections, markets, hospitals, dispensaries, motorway, railway station, recreational places and other sites.
DHO Dr Asif Shahzad said that all arrangements had been finalised and a total 3,234 teams would remain active during the campaign.
