University Of Sargodha Holds Free Medical Camps About Diabetes

The University of Sargodha (UoS) Thursday held a seminar and organised free medical camps regarding diabetes.
The students also presented stage plays highlighting the disadvantages of sedentary lifestyle, consumption of fast food and other kind of unhealthy food.
Vice Chancellor Dr Ishtiaq Ahmad inaugurated the stalls set up at the main campus by the Sargodha Medical College in collaboration with various pharmaceutical companies for raising awareness about diabetes and conducting free medical tests for examining blood glucose, HbA1c, body mass index, blood pressure and cholesterol level.
A seminar at the Institute of Food and Nutrition Sciences was also held during which medical experts, faculty members and students gave presentations about causes, symptoms and prevention of diabetes.
