AJK Cabinet Approves Three Developmental Projects Worth Rs. 1.32 Bn

A meeting of Development Committee Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister, Raja Farooq Haider here Wednesday approved three developmental projects costing 1.32 billion rupees
The meeting was attended by Senior Minister Ch. Tariq Farooq, Chief Secretary, Dawood Ahmad Khawaja, ministers, Additional Chief Secretary Development Dr. Syed Asif Hussain Shah, secretaries and heads of concerned departments.
Approved projects included 40 kilometers roads in Muzaffarabad district, construction of twelve new buildings of inter and degree colleges.
Addressing the meeting, Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that government was spending development budget according to needs of the people and after proper planning.
He said earlier projects were approved without proper planning and were being delayed due to insufficient allocation.
He said that government has increased development budget besides ensuring its judicious utilization through good management and effective planning.
