The AJK Minister of Food Syed Shaukat Ali Shah has hailed the categorical rejection of Delhi-backed sham civic elections drama in Occupied Jammu Kashmir by the population of the held state including APHC leadership.
MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Oct, 2018 ) ,:The AJK Minister of food Syed Shaukat Ali Shah has hailed the categorical rejection of Delhi-backed sham civic elections drama in Occupied Jammu Kashmir by the population of the held state including APHC leadership.
Talking to various public delegations that called on him on Friday, Shah said people of the Held Valley have once again given a message to the world that Indian forcible rule of their State was not acceptable to them. They have made it clear that no option other than granting them right to self-determination is tolerable to them, he added.
Shah said it has also been clear from the martyrdom of PhD scholar Munan Wani by Indian forces that it is an indigenous freedom struggle. "India is misleading the world that it is a cross border terrorism which is a white lie" he remarked.
The Minister said India could not curb Kashmiris' struggle for freedom despite clamping curfew, massacring of Kashmiris, custodial killings and subjecting them to all sorts of brutalities. Sacrifices of Burhan Wani, Mannan Wani and thousands other Kashmiris have put India under lot of pressure. Now international media is questioning India's massive human rights abuses and state terrorism in IHK, he maintained.
"India has tried all sorts of curbs including restrictions on internet service, means of communications and media but it could not stifle the voice of Kashmiris for popular slogan of freedom that is echoing all over the valley now" he observed.
