AJK Prime Minister Directs 100 Percent Utilization Of Development Funds

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan Wednesday directed all the departments to ensure 100 percent utilization of development funds before the end of third quarter of fiscal year
The Prime Minister issued these directives during a high level meeting under his chair here to review the progress on ongoing development projects and expenditures of third quarter of fiscal year which was attended by Ministers, Secretaries and heads of departments.
He directed the heads of departments to personally supervise the ongoing work ensuring quality and completion within stipulated time period without compromising the standards and sought daily report of the progress to his office from all subordinate departments.
The Prime Minister ordered to cancel leaves and weekly offs of the staff of Accountant general's office to facilitate the development agencies and directed them to work on Saturday and Sunday as well ensuring timely release of funds and payments to contractors having work don.
He also directed the secretaries to follow the guide line provided by Ministers and strictly over see the work of subordinate officials and office ensuring strict financial and administrative discipline besides quick disposal of preparation and approval of development schemes without waiting last quarter or June.
