AJK To Mark April 6 As Kashmir Solidarity Day

AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that Kashmir Solidarity Day would be observed across the state and the country as decided by the Federal Cabinet on April 6.

Addressing a news conference at AJK's metropolis on Tuesday, he said that All Parties Conference would be convened on Saturday to give a strong message to India whose is involved in killings of innocent Kashmiris.
The AJK Prime Minister thanked the government of Pakistan for its unequivocal political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris who are struggling for their right to self determination. Farooq Haider urged media to expose the Indian brutalities and paid rich tribute to the Kashmiri youth who are sacrificing for the cause of Kashmir.
He strongly condemned the puppet administration in the Indian Occupied Kashmir that has banned media and all sources of information with the aim to hide its aggression and added India was using all tactics to suppress the Kashmir liberation movement with mass killings of Kashmiris.
Haider called upon the Pakistan government to raise the issue of continued Indian brutalities and the human massacre in occupied Kashmir in the United Nations Security Council to put pressure on the Indians to respect the human rights in occupied Kashmir.
Farooq Haider emphasized Pakistan government to withdraw the condition of resolving Kashmir issue by bilateral dialogue with India in Simla agreement and raise the issue at United Nations, European Union and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) as India wanted to maintain the status quo on Kashmir issue and does not want this issue to be get international consideration.
AJK Premier urged the international community to intervene for the resolution of longstanding Kashmir dispute. He said New Delhi's claim of being the biggest democratic country proves to be fallacious claim as it is disgracing humanity in the occupied territory.
Farooq Haider said the brutal crackdown; including the despicable use of pellet guns on civilians who were protesting against the killings is deplorable. He said, Indian attempts to label the legitimate Kashmir struggle as terrorism cannot deter the valiant people of Jammu and Kashmir from their demand of exercising their right to self determination in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions.
He said Pakistan is highlighting the issue of Kashmir in an effective manner and shares firm attachment with the kashmiri brethren. Meanwhile, Farooq Haider visited the office of All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK chapter in Islamabad and reaffirmed continued support to the people of occupied Kashmir in their struggle for realization of their right to self-determination.
He paid tribute to Kashmiris for rendering unmatched sacrifices in this struggle against Indian occupation and strongly condemned and deplored the continued terrorism by India in the valley and noted that the unresolved Kashmir dispute continues to threaten the peace and security of the region.
He emphasized that the conflict should be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people and the United Nations Security Council resolutions.
