All Set To Observe Foundation Day Of AJK Government

The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday gave final touches to the scheduled celebration of its 71st anniversary on October 24, Wednesday with the renewal of the pledge to bring the Kashmir freedom movement to its logical end through the liberation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir from the clutches of the Indian forced and unlawful occupation.
MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Oct, 2018 ) ,:The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday gave final touches to the scheduled celebration of its 71st anniversary on October 24, Wednesday with the renewal of the pledge to bring the Kashmir freedom movement to its logical end through the liberation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir from the clutches of the Indian forced and unlawful occupation.
The arrangements were finalized in a high level meeting to observe the anniversary of the AJK government formed this day October 24 in 1947 after the liberation of the territory from the despotic dogra and its stooge Indian rule. Flag hoisting ceremonies in the State's capital town, district and tehsil headquarters would be the hall mark of the day.
Meanwhile Director General Public Relation (DGPR), Raja Azhar Iqbal said that the founding day of Azad Jammu and Kashmir government will be celebrated with full zest and zeal.
Talking to APP here on Tuesday, the DGPR said the month of October is of great historical significance to the people and the government of AJK every year.
Referring to the rapid progress of Azad Jammu Kashmir, he underlined that the deadly earthquake of October 8, 2005 had turned bulk of the AJK state into rubble in few moments. He said that the state became pile of ruins, more than 75 thousand people embraced shahadat , but the people of the state, particularly with the help of global community, people of Pakistan and Pak Army, the state now buildup again with integrated phased reconstruction and rehabilitation program.
He said that media should lend all of their professional skills and energies for keeping people well aware of their due responsibilities for keeping high the Kashmir Freedom movement on this historical occasion. "Youth can be a part of movement through due information and guideline", he concluded.
