Azad Jammu And Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan Directs To Restore Road Link With Neelum Valley

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has directed all concern departments to immediately restore road leading to Neelum Valley which had been swept in river at Nauseeri point, entrance to Valley Yesterday due to heavy rains
The Prime Minister further directed communication department to coordinate with army and Water and Power development authority (WAPDA) for early restoration of the road link and also open alternate road through Leswa bypass by clearing the ice.
The Prime Minister visited the site on Wednesday and directed the geophysicist to design the road portion swept in the dam as early as possible so that construction could be started immediately to restore it for heavy traffic.
He said on the occasion that he had sought a report from the district administration of Neelum about stock of addable items according to which there was no shortage of food items in the Valley.
He was informed by the concern departments that alternate road link through Leswa Bypass would soon be opened as ice clearing work had been started to restore the supply of food items in Neelum Valley.
Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that his government was fully alert about the situation and assured the people of Neelum Valley that government take every step to restore the road link with Muzaffarabad sooner and shortage of food items will not allowed to be occur.
