Four AJK Officials Held For Corruption Charges

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Accountability Bureau Monday nabbed four officials of district Hattian on corruption charges after their bails were canceled by the Supreme Court
According to the Bureau, Tariq Riaz, Nadeem Hassan, Muhammad Imtiaz and Muhammad Ilyas have secured bail from the Supreme Court after they had been charged in an embezzlement of more than 60 million rupees in Assistant Commissioner's office by using fake signatures of higher officers.
The Bureau had move a plea in the Supreme Court for cancellation of their bails after securing solid evidence against them which a bench comprising chief Justice Justice Chaudhary Ibrahim Zia and Justice Saeed Akram accepted and the official were held.
The Bureau also arrested another officials of electricity department after cancellation of his bail before arrest from the apex court in another corruption case and shifted him to a safe house for investigation.
