Huma Baqai, an expert of International Relations in an interview said the issue must be resolved with accordance to UN resolutions that permit Kashmiris to exercise their right to self-determination.
It is significant that Sikh community is also supporting Kashmiris in this regard across the globe.The indigenous freedom movement in Kashmir is gaining momentum with each passing day due to sacrifices of Kashmiris.
Kashmir issue can be resolved only through negotiations. International community has realized that Kashmir dispute can cause a full fledge war between two nuclear armed neighbors that will destabilize the region.Dr.
Javed Hayat Khan, expert on Kashmir Affairs from Canada said the extremism and state sponsored terrorism have increased since Narendra Modi came into power in India. As per UN resolutions, Kashmir is a disputed territory and Kashmiris are determined to achieve their internationally recognized right to self-determination despite all atrocities of Indian occupation forces.The Indian forces have started crackdown against intelligentsia and educated class in occupied Kashmir to crush the indigenous freedom movement.
