ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2018 ) :In Indian occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership has called for a complete shutdown, tomorrow, on Wednesday against the continued killings in the valley.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the leadership in a joint statement issued in Srinagar said that the territory had witnessed a sudden spike since the Eid day as three young boys were brutally martyred by the Indian forces while an injured was struggling for life at a hospital in Srinagar.
The statement said that siege and search operations had made the lives of people miserable all across the occupied territory.
"People are being severely beaten and harassed and used as human shields," it deplored.
The strike will also be observed against the brutal killing of senior journalist Shujaat Bukhari. The JRL has also demanded an international probe into his gruesome murder.
Meanwhile, Indian police arrested the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza in Islamabad district. He was scheduled to visit the residence of martyr Aijaz Ahmad at Nowpora in Kulgam district
