Kashmir Cause Be Treated As The Priority Of Pakistani Media : Zafar Akbar Bhat

People of Jammu & Kashmir are putting their best possible efforts by sacrificing their precious lives for the great cause of Kashmir and now it's the role and responsibility of media representatives, civil society activist from Pakistan to amplify and highlight the sacrifices and sufferings of the people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir to the world

MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Feb, 2018 ) , :People of Jammu & Kashmir are putting their best possible efforts by sacrificing their precious lives for the great cause of Kashmir and now it's the role and responsibility of media representatives, civil society activist from Pakistan to amplify and highlight the sacrifices and sufferings of the people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir to the world.

This was stated by Zafar Akbar Bhat, Chairman, Kashmir Salvation Movement, during the session arranged with the editors, columnist, anchors, journalists and media representatives on Saturday. He said the journalist community and media can play a powerful role in promoting the Kashmir cause but there is a greater need to develop the deep rooted understanding about the Kashmir conflict and its related contours.

During the session, famous writer and columnist Zahid Chughtai, senior Journalist highlighted that Pakistan and people of Pakistan are standing with the Kashmiri brethren beyond the politics of the state to state.

He was of the view that columnist and journalist in Pakistan have the deep understanding and they are putting their all efforts. Jabar Mirza, another senior journalist highlighted the role of the foreign office to establish the special desks at the different missions of Pakistan to promote the cause.

Another senior journalist highlighted the role of the people to people linkages. Dr. Murtaza Mughal has proposed to write weekly opinion and policy columns and conduct sessions for the journalist especially highlighted the efforts of the Global Forum for Intellectuals and Professionals in order to have an update about the burning issue.

Media representatives have called for the need to develop deep rooted linkages and understanding of the overall society about the suffering of Kashmir. Senior Huriat leader and prominent motivator Ghazi Altaf Ahmad Bhat has said that kashmir is the (SHAH RUG) Juggalar vein of Pakistan , Pakistan should raise voice for not the kashmiri people but for the water coming from IOK, if Pakistan would not take firm stance it will become desert , India is planning and executing the conspiracy , its time to stand up with kashmiris and support them for their freedom , all rivers and all roads are coming to Pakistan.

He emphasized upon the media to play his vital role for kashmir freedom movement . Mr. Prominent journalist , and columnist Aqeel Ahmad Tareen said that the media needs to give a prominent position to the Kashmir cause, the victims and take it as a campaign.
