Last sermon of prophet provides base for welfare state: Speakers

A conference organized by Literary society of AJK here Saturday recalled that last sermon of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had provided the fundamentals of a welfare state and by following his footsteps, Muslims can transform their individual and collective lives.

MUZAFFARABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Dec, 2018 ) :A conference organized by Literary society of AJK here Saturday recalled that last sermon of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had provided the fundamentals of a welfare state and by following his footsteps, Muslims can transform their individual and collective lives.

The Seerat conference was addressed by Chief Justice AJK Justice Chaudhry Ibrahim Zia, Chairman Islamic Ideology of Pakistan Dr. Qibla Ayaz Ahmad, President AJK literary council Akram Sohail and others.

Justice Zia said the principles and Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the structure of such a welfare state where all citizens are equal, social and economic justice prevails in the society.

"The fundamentals of such a state can be derived from the "SEERAT" of holy prophet (Pbuh)." he added.

He said the welfare state means a state which accept the challenge to provide a specific living standard to every citizen, equal opportunities, rights and socio-economic justice and for that matter, the life of the prophet was the guideline.

He said the Holy prophet had spent his whole life for the well being of humanity through his words and practices and success and welfare of the human beings was hidden in his life history which must be followed to achieve the goal.

Addressing the conference, Dr. Qibla Ayaz Ahmad said that the life and preaching of prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the constitution and manifesto for a welfare state and He (the prophet) had fully portrayed the structure of a welfare state in the Seerat.

He said the personality and character of Prophet (PBUH) had created easiness and facilities in the lives of people and his whole life was transparent like a glass.
