Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Chairperson Peace and Culture Organization and wife of Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the killing of ten Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district and questioned the silence of the world community in this regard.
In her statement on Saturday, she said that the state sponsored terrorism against the killing of the youth has witnessed a drastic escalation in recent days. She said that Indian forces are martyring and injuring the Kashmiris on daily basis while using the prohibited arsenals; however she lamented that unfortunately the world community especially the United Nations has yet to take any step to stop the unabated human violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir that raised many questions.
Mushaal vowed that Indian forces cannot stop Kashmiris from their right of self-determination by resorting to such atrocities, adding that independence is the fundamental right of Kashmiri people and no one can deprive them of their basic right through use of force.
She said that looked at the barbarism of the Indian forces, as her husband Yasin Malik was kept in jail and did not provide him basic health facilities despite being in critical condition.
The Indian forces on Saturday in their fresh acts of state terrorism martyred three youth during a cordon and search operation in Kharpora Sirnoo, beside this, the occupation forces martyred seven more youth and injuring dozens others when the people were doing demonstrations against the killing of the youth.
The Chairperson went on to say that Indian forces in their barbaric acts, martyred 48 people, besides arresting 169 and torturing 196 in November 2018. Overall, occupation forces have martyred 95, 234 people since January 1989 in which the custodial killing mounted to 7,120, she added.
However, she urged that the world community should take notice of the on-going barbarism by Indian forces and took urgent steps so as to resolve the long-pending Kashmir issue once and for all.
