Prime Minister Of Azad Jammu And Kashmir (AJK), Raja Farooq Haider Khan Describes Serving Ailing Humanity Legal, Moral Responsibility

Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Raja Farooq Haider Khan said on Thursday it was a common, social, and legal responsibility of peoples to donate Zakat, charities and other donations to poor, down trodden and other deserving people.
MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2018 ) , :Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Raja Farooq Haider Khan said on Thursday it was a common, social, and legal responsibility of peoples to donate Zakat, charities and other donations to poor, down trodden and other deserving people.
He expressed these views while addressing the seminar organized by the Federal Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, entitled as "Haq Haqdar Tak". Member of Legislative Assembly Dr. Mustafa Bashir Abbasi, Chief Campaign Manager District level management program Khurram Shehzad, District Co-ordinator Muzaffarabad Imtiaz Awan, Chairman Pakistan Red Crescent Soceity AJK state branch Sardar Mehmood Ahmed Khan, Director General Tourism Sardar Javed Ayub, Community Leader Social Worker Raja Iftikhar, Maulana Qazi Mehmood ul Hassan, Shaukat Javed Mir, Raja Muhammad Shafiq, Shehzad Rathore, Sajida Gillani, Saira Chishti and others also spoke on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister said that our religion is based on the theory of donating poor who are deprived of basic facilities and it is also according to the teachings of Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W).
He stated that the incumbent government was endeavoring to provide relief for needy persons at their door steps, "if needed, the government will also make new laws to provide food, charity and donations to the deserving people and institutions so that only deserving persons can be benefited" "In any Islamic State, Zakat is being distributed by the government; we will improve the distribution of zakat system more efficient and improved so that eligible can be benefited.
Farooq Khan said that we will fulfill the mission of serving people only for the sake of Allah. He voiced that he don't have any personal agenda, "Allah has given the authority to protect the rights of the people, if there is a need, legislation will be done by this regard" he maintained.
He reiterated that it is our responsibility to examine and take care when donating to someone, so that the aid should reach to the authorized institutions and deserving people. He exhorted that the awareness campaign initiated by the Federal Ministry of Information should improve, so that people can help the deserving.
"We have to work as civic citizen to establish a welfare society," he said. Taking about the right thing for right person, PM AJK stated that Government had brought reforms in recruitment through NTS, Public Service Commission and other educational institutions in Azad Kashmir to ensure that people get their right place on right job.
Chief Campaign Manager S.A.M Sherazi presented a shield to Prime Minister AJK on this occasion. Meanwhile, AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan passed orders for the imposition of ban on supply of flour from private sector mills in AJ&K after receiving complaints from the public.
Prime Minister directed the district magistrates of all AJK districts to impose section 144 on the import of flour from private sector mills and make sure the provision of quality flour to the masses. The prime minister also directed the officials of the Food Department to check the commodities of day to day use by activating the food testing laboratory in the state.
