Sultan Urges Neitherlands, EU To Help Resolve Kashmir Issue

Former Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) prime minister Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry Tuesday urged the European Union and the Neitherlands to play their due role in resolving the Kashmir issue.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2018 ) :Former Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) prime minister Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry Tuesday urged the European Union and the Neitherlands to play their due role in resolving the Kashmir issue.
Talking to Dutch Deputy Ambassador Ms Josephine Frantzen here, he said the Neitherlands had significant importance in comity of nations as the headquarters of various vital organizations, including International Court of Justice, were situated in the country.
He said both the Neitherlands and the European Union had the potential to play an important role in highlighting the Kashmir issue as both had excellent record of hosting international conferences. The resolution of Kashmir issue could help achieve lasting peace in the region and improve Pakistan-India relations.
He said India was persistently violating human rights in the held Kashmir. The EU had already issued Emma Nicholson report on the Kashmir issue.
