'UAE Back To School Project' Launched In Lebanon

Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, has launched the "UAE Back to School Project" in cooperation with Marwan Hamade, Lebanese Minister of Education and Higher Education and with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
BEIRUT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 26th Oct, 2018) Hamad Saeed Sultan Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, has launched the "UAE Back to School Project" in cooperation with Marwan Hamade, Lebanese Minister of Education and Higher Education and with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
The campaign, targeting 13 official schools in various Lebanese governorates, includes the distribution of 5,000 school bags containing stationery supplies.
Al Shamsi said, during the launch of the project at the headquarters of the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education, that this project comes to complement previous campaigns and projects where focus was placed on educational and development work.
He added, "The UAE has firmly established the concept of building people and enhancing their capabilities to ensure a better future for next generations," he said, adding, "The UAE leadership attaches great importance to education and considers it as the most important investment to promote development."
The Lebanese Minister of Education thanked the leadership of the UAE, noting that this project is a continuation of the UAE's benevolent projects in Lebanon.
