Abdullah Bin Zayed Visits Museum Of Pre-Columbian Art In Chile

SANTIAGO, Chile, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 21st Mar, 2019) H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has visited the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art.

His Highness toured the halls of the famous museum, which includes more than 1,000 pieces showing the richness and diversity of Chilean culture, including works of art and other creations in textiles, ceramics, metals, bones, leather, stone and various materials.

He was also briefed on the contents of the museum, including artifacts that are more than 2,500 years old.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the museum's rich heritage.

The museum of Pre-Columbian art was opened in Santiago in December, 1981.

During his visit, Sheikh Abdullah was accompanied by Abdul Razzaq Mohamed Hadi, UAE Ambassador to Chile.
