AED6.8 Bn Sales Recorded By Consumer Cooperatives For 2018

The Consumer Cooperative Union revealed that the sales of Consumer Cooperatives in the UAE amounted to around AED6.8 bn by the end of 2018.

DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 04th Mar, 2019) The Consumer Cooperative Union revealed that the sales of Consumer Cooperatives in the UAE amounted to around AED6.8 bn by the end of 2018.

The number of shareholders in the cooperatives reached 76, 294, confirming the effectiveness of programmes and plans implemented to ensure the confidence of the shareholders and consumers in products, goods and services offered.

This came during a speech by Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki, Director of Happiness and Marketing Department, Union Coop, made on behalf of the Consumer Cooperative Union on the occasion of 14th Gulf Consumer Protection Day.
