Ahmed Al Jarwan Meets With Argentinian Speaker Of Congress

Emilio Monzó, Speaker of the Argentinian Congress, received Ahmed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, and his delegation at the Argentinian Congress in Buenos Aires
BUENOS AIRES, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 26th Feb, 2019) Emilio Monzó, Speaker of the Argentinian Congress, received Ahmed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, and his delegation at the Argentinian Congress in Buenos Aires.
Monzó expressed his happiness at Argentina’s chairing of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace for a period of one year, which will begin in June, while expressing his country’s appreciation for being chosen for this key role.
He also presented his country’s invitation to one of the parliament’s sessions while thanking the council and Al Jarwan for spreading the values of tolerance and peace around the world.
Al Jarwan presented a detailed explanation about the work of the council and the parliament while affirming the importance of Argentina’s chairmanship of the parliament, due to its regional and international stature.
Both parties exchanged commemorative shields. Monzó then accompanied Al Jarwan around the hall and facilities of the Argentinian Congress and its building while highlighting the desire of the Argentinian Congress to promote cooperation and tolerance around the world.
Monzó welcomed the council’s delegation while showing his gratitude for their visit, which is their first to South America, with the aim of discussing joint work and strengthening and spreading tolerance and peace around the world. He also held a lunch banquet in honour of the delegation.
