Ajman Chamber Discusses Cooperation With Morocco

The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Consulate of Morocco discussed the means of reinforcing their economic cooperation, as well as the key economic opportunities and partnerships available to business leaders from the UAE and Morocco
AJMAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 20th Mar, 2019) The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Consulate of Morocco discussed the means of reinforcing their economic cooperation, as well as the key economic opportunities and partnerships available to business leaders from the UAE and Morocco.
The discussion took place during a meeting that took place at chamber's headquarters, which was attended by Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Chamber, and Abdulrahim Rahali, Consul-General of Morocco, along with other officials from both sides.
Al Muwaiji welcomed Rahali while praising the ties between the leadership and peoples of the two countries. He also highlighted the importance of the meeting in enhancing their current cooperation and creating investment opportunities.
Al Muwaiji then presented an overview of Ajman’s economic performance, its key sectors, and the efforts of the wise leadership to provide an attractive investment environment, to ensure the emirate’s economic competitiveness.
The meeting’s participants also discussed the participation of a senior Moroccan delegation in the "Construction Future Exhibition," which will begin on 25th March in Al Zawraa, as well as ways of reinforcing the cooperation between participating companies and authorities.
The Moroccan delegation included government officials and owners of construction and real estate companies.
Al Muwaiji expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and highlighted the economic opportunities available in Morocco, especially in the sectors of tourism, agriculture and industry, as well as his country’s safe and attractive environment for investors.
Both sides highlighted the importance of participating in specialist events, to ensure effective communication between their public and private sectors, and the benefit from available opportunities in various fields.
